NERO II TK UP Transcoder (Powerline - Radio)

The transcoder forms an interface between Powerline transmission and radio transmission and allows mutual connection of control units from both product ranges within a control system. Moreover the transcoder increases on demand the transmission range within an extensive NERO II installation or the technical connection of information of two installation areas each with separate power supply (e.g. between adjacent buildings or parts of the same building).

The commands received via radio are forwarded by the transcoder as Powerline commands over the 230 V electricity network. Similarly does the transcoder with the NERO II commands received over the 230 V electricity network: they are first transformed and then transmitted as appropriate INTRO II radio commands.

• Connection of INTRO II transmitters (radio) to NERO II receivers (Powerline)
• Connection of NERO II transmitters (Powerline) to INTRO II receivers (radio)
• Forwarding / repeated transmission of incoming signal in order to increase the functional range within an extensive installation (repeater)
• Bridging of a galvanic separation between buildings / parts of a building
